Termoadhesive Vinyl for Cosplay - Boa Hancock QiPao Tutorial

Imagen
Hello! Last month I made another cosplay comission which were four diferent versions of Boa Hancock's QiPao/Cheongsam (traditional dress) from One Piece. And this designs have one very special characteristic, which are the skull patterns plastered all over the dresses, Since i needed to make it look professional but i couldn't waste too much time on it, I decided to use a very easy and very cheap material, which is ''Termoadhesive vinyl'' . This material is as easy as it gets, cut out the desired shape out of the material, place it where you want it to be on the fabrics, and iron over it carefully till you can easily remove the protector plastic, and you will get a neat and clean looking print on your fabrics! Watch the video to see the process in more detail! ^^

ASSASINS CREED EZIO AUDITORE PATTERNS GUIDE (youtube cosplay tutorial)

Imagen
Here you can find the patterns I used for  my Assasins Creed cosplay comission, WHICH were actually pretty much eyeballed since I modified all of them as I needed, but without using patterning rulers or anything since I DON'T KNOW HOW TO MAKE PATTERNS (professionaly so at least).  By this I mean, don't take my word to the z since, as I said, i'm no professional and I always adapt patterns as iIdeem necessary to get the desired shape. Anyways, here is a guide I hope can be of some use to those who also don't know much about pattern making hahaha YT TUTORIAL: TOP SHIRT PATTERNS: (download from link) https://www.modafacil.com/bello-conjunto-de-pijama-deportiva-de-top-y-short-mj1239ts/ the pattern layout is as follows (its for a clothes set)  But I only used the front and back shirt patterns , and i didn't cut out the neck shape and instead left it es a rectangle so the neck can be bended over SOMETHING LIKE THIS!: (I didn't use any measurements, i always eyeball t...

Kimetsu No Yaiba Sword Tutorial - Rengoku Kyoujuro Cosplay

Imagen
Hello everyone! Some months ago during the quarantine I made a very special comission, Rengoku Kyoujuro's complete costume (including the sword, cape, uniform and shoes!) from Kimetsu no Yaiba! Here you can find a tutorial to learn in more detail the steps followed to make it, and i'll also try to explain with a few pictures ^^ I first made a basic black uniform and added a white rectangle to make the fake sleeve on the chest, added a simple rectangular neck and the buttons, i also made basic black pants with an elastic on the bottom. Fort he belt I bought a brown one and painted it with white spray paint.   I painted the characetr on the back with spray paint too, though i would recommend using thermoadhesive vinyl instead. For the cape i first made a basic white one, cout out the spiky edges and painted with red spray paint, the burned the edges slightly. I made the sword out of a pvc tube reshaped with a heat gun, i painted everything with spray paint and added a white strin...

How to Make two ponytail out of one wig, NO SEWING Cosplay Tutorial !

Imagen
Veeeery old tutorial (from 2014 or so) I made a about how to divide a wig into two clip in ponytails, an extremely easy way which i basically used to give a new life to an old ugly wig I had liying around and I definitely would never use considering the ugly ass bangs it has XD Materials: Base wig used for ponytails Two hair pins not very big, but strong enough to hold into your wig Some strong glue shitty wig for the project : D First thing I did was divide all the hair into two blocks for each ponytail, make it so that you can see the net wig through where you are gonna cut, then, apply loctite on each separation to make sure the hair strand wont fall off or like loose too much hair Cut until you end up with two mini wigs: As wig I don't think eh .. Next step is to grab a big hair pin that can be completely covered with the wig cap, put it in the center of the mini wig: (This photo is from Kazumi Kawaii Cosplay's blog!) Now you can secure the hair to the clip using loctite, h...

Boa Hancock Cosplay Tutorial - Thermo-Vinyl ! - [One Piece] Black and White kimono

Imagen
Another comission I made last september! Boa hancock black and white kimono from the anime one piece! here you can lear how i made the skirt, top, belt and cape accompained by a full on step by step youtube tutorial: Top: For this part I used a regular shirt pattern, open in the middle, and adapted the shape so it would have the characteristic triangle kimono neck, sew both white and black sides together and a red lace around the neck's opening.  for the sleeves i cut out a wave shape 4 times and sew them together into another piece of fabric getting the rectangle you can see in the image, which i then sew at the end of each sleeve and also added a black and yellow ribbon around the edges, For the cape-cloak I only cut out a rectangle shape on pink and black fabrics, sew them together and attatched it into the kimono top, for the shoulder thingy I cut out the shape on EVA foam and covered it with hot glue and golden fabrics as well as glueing a golden strip around the edge. ...
